This resource explores how media capture, corporate power, and algorithmic mediation can shape information visibility, pluralism, and the conditions under which people form judgments.

What happens to critical thinking, judgment, and expertise when intelligent systems can do more of the cognitive work
AI is entering a world where literacy, comprehension, and problem-solving capabilities are already uneven. These systems can widen access to knowledge, reduce barriers, and support difficult cognitive tasks, but better performance with assistance is not necessarily the same as stronger independent capability. This resource explores how AI is changing reading, reasoning, writing, learning, and professional judgment, and what helps people use intelligent systems while continuing to build, exercise, and verify their own understanding.
