BIIRGS AI²™ ECOSYSTEM

BIIRGS AI²™ ECOSYSTEM

Artificial Intelligence

Ecosystem

Two pathways into one evidence-led ecosystem for human-technology interaction, connecting organizational transformation with public inquiry.

The Institute is building an artificial intelligence ecosystem that examines AI where it matters most: how people work, how organizations decide, and how societies live together. Through organizational practice and public inquiry, the Institute connects evidence, applied learning, and independent research across human-technology systems.

Guided by Amplifying Interconnectedness & Advancing Innovation™

01. TWO PATHWAYS, ONE MISSION

Choose how you engage

Each pathway serves a distinct community and produces a distinct contribution. Together, they advance the same mission.

Pathways

FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND LEADERS

BIIRGS AI²™ Academy

Build organizational capability for AI-enabled work.

Cross-sector cohorts and tailored programs for senior leaders and their teams to navigate the human, organizational, and governance challenges emerging from AI-enabled work.

Contribution to the mission. Advances innovation inside organizations by translating evidence into redesigned work, rigorous diagnostic practice, and accountable AI governance.

FOR RESEARCHERS, PRACTITIONERS, AND PUBLIC-INTEREST LEADERS

BIIRGS AI²™ Fellowship

Explore how AI is reshaping public life.

A twelve-week online fellowship examining how artificial intelligence shapes democratic, digital, and economic life. Fellows move from a shared foundation into specialist inquiry and develop an individual applied capstone.

Contribution to the mission. Amplifies interconnectedness across public life by developing independent, cross-cultural inquiry into how AI shapes the systems people share.

02. ONE ECOSYSTEM

Different contexts. A shared lens.

The AI²™ Academy and AI²™ Fellowship are distinct pathways within one ecosystem, connected by a shared evidence base, a common lens, and a growing community.

One Ecosystem

Organizational Practice

AI²™ ACADEMY

A shared evidence base

Both pathways draw on the same interdisciplinary psychological science, so organizational and public perspectives on AI are examined with the same rigor.

Technopsychology

SHARED LENS

Two levels of analysis

The Academy asks how organizations should redesign work and governance. The Fellowship asks how AI is reshaping public life. Each sharpens the questions the other pursues.

Public Inquiry

AI²™ FELLOWSHIP

One growing community

Academy participants, Fellowship alumni, partners, and contributors form a cross-sector community connected through the Institute's programming and Civic Resource Hub.

04. OUR GUIDING PHILOSOPHY

Amplifying Interconnectedness & Advancing Innovation™

Artificial intelligence does not sit in a single domain. It moves through individuals, organizations, communities, and the institutions that govern them, and change at any one level shapes the whole.

Amplifying Interconnectedness

Individuals, organizations, society, and the environment are one interconnected system. Our AI programming treats workplace adoption, public life, and governance as connected questions, so that insight gained in one setting strengthens practice in another.

Advancing Innovation

We apply psychological science, systems thinking, and The BIIRGS Iceberg™ Methodology to human-technology interaction, turning deep insight into adaptive models that help people and institutions adopt, govern, and live well with AI.

A Shared Lens: Technopsychology

Both pathways examine AI through technopsychology, the study of how technologies shape human experience, behavior, and relationships, and how people shape technology in return.
