PATHWAYS TO ENGAGE
WELLUMIINATE™
Pathways to Engage
Pathways to Engage outlines how individuals, organizations, and institutions can access BIIRGS research and resources, apply insights in practice, or collaborate through programming, research, and dialogue.
WELLUMIINATE™ applies health psychology to the people, systems, and evidence that shape health and care. The initiative advances wellbeing, trust, representation, and informed participation across the health ecosystem.

WHERE THE WORK STANDS
Health and care systems often separate professional wellbeing, patient voice, public understanding, and research participation, even though these dimensions shape one another.
WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE
Connecting these dimensions can support health and care systems that are more humane, trustworthy, representative, and responsive to the people who deliver, experience, and shape them.
Three Pathways
People, organizations, and institutions engage with this work in different ways. The pathways below outline the principal routes of engagement, from open-access resources to commissioned work and joint programming and research.
OPEN ACCESS
Civic Resource Hub
Through the WELLUMIINATE Civic Resource Hub, individuals, communities, and care organizations can access health psychology resources, research translations, and public learning materials. The collection supports deeper understanding of professional well-being, patient advocacy, health literacy, and inclusive participation in medical research.
What this pathway offers
Independent access to the initiative’s evidence, resources, and public tools.
APPLIED
Commissioned Work
Commissioned work applies health psychology to the conditions that shape care. Engagement may support workforce well-being, health literacy, patient advocacy, trust, and inclusive participation across healthcare, research, public health, and community settings.
What this pathway offers
Commissioned support shaped around an organization’s context, priorities, and questions.
PARTNERSHIP
Joint Programming & Research
Joint programming and research extend whole-system health psychology across care, communities, and health knowledge. The Institute works with partners on public programs, arts-based interventions, community initiatives, and research that broaden participation and strengthen trust in health and care.
What this pathway offers
Institutional collaboration through joint research, programming, and public engagement.
